What is wrong with Christian culture?

Since ‘Christian culture’ doesn’t exist as a specific word allow me to define both words.

Christian: “1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus…”

Culture: “b: the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group; also: the characteristic features of everyday existence (as diversions or a way of life} shared by people in a place or time…”

So to add both definitions together we get;

Christian – Culture:

“Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus… the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group; also: the characteristic features of everyday existence (as diversions or a way of life} shared by people in a place or time…”

So for we Christians to have a culture we must share specific traits. Our culture is that we believe Jesus is God, Jesus has and does exist, We are his followers because we follow multiple teachings found in the Holy Bible. We share Church traditions and celebrations.

Now here is where things are wrong with ‘Christian – culture’.

We are all too willing to put our Christianity in politics. And in doing so we are either liberal, progressive or Conservative. Jesus has NO American political group affiliation. Jesus as a Jew would have followed his culture and not a political party.

We follow catholic holidays such as Easter, Christmas, Halloween or other dates dictated by a alien organization.

In following such holidays we must recognize that:

1 Yes there are alot of pagan practices in each of them.

2 We have NO Scriptural basis to follow any other those dates / holidays.

3 Each of those ‘holidays’ are traditions and not necessary in our beliefs according to the Scriptures.

On the other hand.

Other holidays and dates that the judaizers & theonomists command Christians to keep such as.

Saturday Sabbath

Jubilee

Passover

Feast of Tabernacles

Etc…

Are based off of Judaism and we as modern Christians donot need to keep those dates either.

After all… Can those SUPPOSED modern ‘Christians’ who keep such dates actually PROVE that we are commanded to keep them?

No…?

Then of course the only thing that they can provide ‘proof’ of keeping Jewish holidays is not by Commandment but only tradition or the philosophy of “Jesus did it…”. So the whole point of tossing away ‘tradition’ is ultimately pointless because God doesn’t care about holidays or Sunday ‘keeping’.

God cares about FAITH and not living according to the legalist philosophy richard rives, ellen g white and many others profess online.

So what is wrong with Christian-culture?

We as Christians must do the following.

We as individuals in Christianity must look at our political aspirations and decide if they are good or bad for the Church body.

We as individuals in Christianity must make proper fact based decisions on which political party we should follow or not in accordance to the teachings of Jesus.

We as individuals in Christianity must base our decisions on whether or not to keep Christmas, Easter, Halloween or other holidays in light of the facts of each ‘celebration’ history found online or in books and decide if we as a person should celebrate that day or not.

We as individuals in Christianity should NOT JUDGE other Christians by keeping or not keeping any of those ‘celebrations’ due to a personal conviction basing decisions on fact not merely heresy.

We as individuals in Christianity are suppose to live in peace among each other and not continue in factions. Otherwise what is spoken of in Revelations 13:7-10 will come to pass and Christianity will be no more.
