My ideas for red flag laws to protect the American public.

As a Gun rights supporter I have heard both sides of the political coin and I am unhappy with both parties when it comes to gun violence. As a Son and Brother, As A Husband & Dad, As a worker & Employee I am not happy with how American society is handling crime.

So the following is my attempt at finding workable answers to gun crimes, mass shootings etc that may or may not be usable in American society.

Hardening Businesses, Malls, Churches, Schools.…

Harden schools through construction. Bullet resistant barriers within walls, doors, windows etc

Locked doors with bullet resistant materials

Lockable windows w/ bullet resistant construction

Trained, Armed onsite security

Trained, Armed maintenance personnel, teachers, janitors etc.

Silenced alarms that go directly to the local PD or specialized security

Other alarm systems, cameras

Trained Medical staff onsite….

IF more than one entrance, have the ability to trap & hold a security risk within a clear, bullet resistant box or container to keep subject in a cell till they can be arrested or eliminated.

Create a automatic door trap that acts as a bullet resistant cage that can trap a potential shooter in a clear plastic cage to hold a wannabe shooter until the Police or other agencies arrive. That also includes the possibility to get the shooter to kill themselves.

A) metal detectors calibrated to gun parts & bullets, knives and other items that can be bought in stores or online. These would be actual towers or devices that can be installed at public entry areas...

B) Bullet resistant walls, glass and other construction materials people can hide behind….

C) Building safe-rooms that can be secured quickly. Made out of construction materials that are bullet resistant. Connected alarm systems, land line phones and other technology to contact Police / 911.…

D) Armed / well trained security and medics. Examples: When visiting any of the major malls in the Philippines ALL PERSONS are subject to bag & metal detector searches due to many moslem and communist bombings and other attacks. Israel also has similar searches of those who come from moslem controlled areas to slow and stop attacks on it’s citizens...

I recognize that my statements are biased. However I would point out that recent attacks within the 21st Century were done by left leaning criminals & moslems on American soil against Companies, Businesses and fellow Americans.

E) Armed employees or other trust worthy persons in Businesses & Companies. Or employee training on de-escalation…

F) New Security Companies / Businesses that are either private or attached to the US Government who can monitor:

Media / internet posts that include comments, blogs, vlogs and any other website that gather like minded persons together. These can include: mentally ill persons, left leaning ideologists, racist individuals, socialist / communist idealists etc.

I will include ANYONE in the ‘right’ political parties who post potential violent content wanting to commit physical violence towards anyone to the left, moslems and the multitudes of other supposed Anti American persons or ideological groups who populate the internet at this time.

Watch lists would have to be created for ALL POLITICAL groups and made secret only to Police, FBI, CIA, Home-land security, ICE, other Investigators etc.

G) Watch lists of gun and ammo purchases that can be used in gun crimes & mass shootings from any questionable political / ideological group or individual. Or lists of known criminals or those who support groups that are left leaning, racist or other ideas, philosophy, doctrines that endanger Americans.

How ‘red flag laws’ SHOULD WORK: (But don’t always)

New Social programs regarding mental health counseling, Facilities for holding violent or potentially

Physical ‘hold’ of individual for 24 or more hours. In a jail or mental institution

Mental – Clinical investigation / research of the mental health of the person held.

Online investigation / research of blogs, vlogs and other computer evidence of potential or literal violence...

1 Does the individual have ANY violent / criminal mental health issues / disorders?

2 Do the individual frequent extremist websites or other places online that would encourage PHYSICAL violence against ANY particular ID group or political party?

These would include posts, articles that are:

Anti-Christian:

Anti Jewish/ Israeli:

Anti-lgbt:

Anti-islam:

Anti-theism / pro militant atheism:

Anti Capitalism:

Anti US Gov:

Anti-Constitution:

Anti-self defense / gun rights:

Pro mujahedeen / moslem jihadis:

Pro communism / socialism:

Pro- leftist ideologies including: Antifa, anarchists, BLM

ALL forms of racism that is Anti white, Anti Black

3 Does the individual have physical manuals, books or other documentation from extremist groups that teach the use of improvised explosives, traps, instructions on weapon / vehicle making.

4 Do they have multiple firearm / Weapon purchases over a specific number?

What about Ammo purchases over a specific number?

5 Extremist ideologies:

Social media posts with frequent written or typed violence and a potential hate crime

Documented verbal threats that were video taped, phone recorded, message service recorded

Mental health, ptsd other trauma

Seizure of weapons only with VERIFIABLE proof in a court of law

Future Education. Teach: (K-12)

Morality / ethics

Self defense in schools against knife and gun attack

It’s ok to report potential criminals…

1 Newly created organizations that can Recon social and online media.

This means that computer programs need to be written to monitor the multitudes of social media, blogging, chat websites in order to figure out the ideas, agendas, manifestos of potential school shooters. Or a new police organization that can monitor any website that a school shooter could use for doctrine, ideas, to do those types of crimes.

Those with the likeliest possibility should be monitored and contacted by a police officer, school administrator etc

2 Newly created mental health facilities to Identify, contact, hold potential school shooters and take away their weapons and place them into mental health custody.

3 Agencies and laws Hold bullies accountable both students and teachers IF they are the cause from or within the Education system.

4 Hold the failures of school admins, police officers and others accountable if a school shooting happens, in the courts and through the media if they didn’t stop a crime like that.

5 Hold the parents accountable IF they have given bought that criminal weapons.

With Lawsuits, prison time…

8 IF the shooter is still alive. Automatic life imprisonment for their crimes, no access to press and censor their name and other doctrinal / ideological content in the media and online…

9 Strip them and their parents of gun rights for life and their property of ALL fire arms, weapons, Ammo…

10 Death penalty of shooters by the hands of the victims’ families…

11 Take away the media ability to make martyrs and hero’s of school shooters. Censorship…

12 Create a federal server of blog posts, manifestos and other information of living and dead school shooters in order to study this phenomenon through police / federal agencies and look for commonalities’ to stop future shooters…

13 Reconstruct mental health facilities to catch, hold mentally ill persons till they can be made healthy or keep them away from the public indefinitely.

14 Armed Security and companies that can train, employees of theirs to use weapons / firearms to fight back against any active shooters.

15 Gun Control. The literal ability to take away the guns and rights of all gun owners no matter what political party, race or other identifiers in order to keep everyone safe.

This of course would lead up to a literal civil war and the death of everything America would stand for. The varied rights all American born people would no longer be viable and this grand experiment would end with bloodshed and hate.

So obviously that is not even a viable solution to a larger criminal problem and of course the many loons that have bought, loaded ammo into a weapon, carried and fired into the public…

No. Gun control will not be a viable option due to the distain and distrust of the democrat party and in turn all the political parties of the USA. The best options until Jesus saves our Country is to prepare for shootings from the list I have generated and to plan that as long as people have the ability to commit sin, crime, evil we have to be able to defend ourselves as individuals and those people and places that are most dear to us.

Dec 2022 Update:

No laws involving firearms can protect Americans from crazies, criminals and even our government. Recent shootings where the shooter had no criminal record and no other identifiers where he was a threat. Of the recent shooters no background checks caught any red flags and what happened? We all already know.
