Christian Culture and Halloween

Over the many years I have been a Christian. There has been alot of books and online articles or blog posts about what Christians should do and not do on October 31.

The use of Halloween in the Christian church is not part of Church dogma, Theology or Doctrine but is only part of tradition and culture. Those who are of a ‘legalistic’ background like to call the use of Halloween in the Church ‘pagan’ and are more than happy to tell you to your face how much of a ‘pagan’, ‘satanist’ you are for going to your home Church to ‘celebrate’ Halloween during that night.

So in light of the offended ‘legalists’ out there who spread alot of worthless ‘teaching’ about Christianity = paganism online lets consider what Jesus had to say about bringing his message to this dying world.

Please read:

Matthew 28:16-20

Mark 16:15-20

Jesus our Lord COMMANDED US… We Christians to go through out the world proclaiming his message to this world. And notice it doesn’t matter WHICH DAY to evangelize our Towns, Cities, Villages.

As Christians we use Halloween to bring our fellow citizens to Christ through fun, food and we fellowship with each other. The old Halloween of the Celts, Romans and so forth has no bearing upon 21st Century Christians because we donot worship or sacrifice to those dead gods and goddesses we WORSHIP JESUS! We WORSHIP our wondrous God known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

For those of you engaged in Spiritual Warfare in those cities of the earth where darkness reigns use Halloween to fight in Spiritual warfare according to Ephesians 6:10-18 through Prayer and Worship. Through Jesus he will give you the VICTORY over both Human and satanic darkness.

God Bless you all my Brothers and Sisters in Jesus!
