A conversation with a elderly jehovahs witness woman

Yesterday (10-18-2012) I had a unique opportunity to speak with a resident at my employment who has been a ‘JW’ for 50+ years. She was watching a news channel on the tv and was troubled by the many moslem attacks over the last several months.

I told her that it is thier ‘holy’ book that Jesus and the various other persons stories were changed and that thier beliefs donot messure up to the Bible or Torah. She was suprised that I ever read the quran. She was equally suprised to find out that the moslem ‘isa’ is not the same Jesus of Christianity or the JWs. In fact I explained to her that even the moslem ‘god’ allah is not the same as Jews or Christians.

Eventually she told me about her ‘faith’ in the watchtower organization and a basic run down of her life.

I like this woman as a person because I see her daily. But her faith in a fraudulent ‘ministry’ is really sad.

I recognize that alot of people THINK they are Christian by being part of organizations like the LDS or JW. But after reviewing LDS & JW doctrine it is obvious to me that they are not part of the Christian church but devious cults run by wealthy old men.
