My response to the moslem post ‘Jesus is no saviour’

According to this ibn anwar character:

“According to the Old Testament Jesus cannot be a saviour”

“Posted by Ibn Anwar on August 5, 2009”

“   According to Christians Jesus is a prince. He is the prince of peace. In the New Testament we read again and again that Jesus is called ‘the Son of Man’. In fact, that expression is mentioned for Jesus over 83 times throughout the New Testament. Consider the following verse,”

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man in whom there is no help.” (Psalms 146:3)”

“Interestingly enough the word help in the above verse is shua in Hebrew. Do you recall the name of Jesus in Hebrew? It’s Yeshua which is rendered “God saves”. Christians often use this as proof that Jesus himself is God who saves. This would be like saying that Hezekiah is God because his name means ‘Strong God’ or Ishmael which means ‘God hears’. Surely, they do not mean anything more than reflections of God Himself and not those who bear those names. The names act as a way to remind the people regarding God. Yeshua cannot possibly be calling Jesus God who saves in light of Psalms 146:3 which clearly disqualifies him as one who offers shua or salvation. Jesus himself is no more than a messenger appointed by God (John 17:3).”

“We have yet another verse that undermines the notion that Jesus is the source of salvation,”

“It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man.” (Psalms 118:8)”

“The same message is found in Psalms 108:12 and Psalms 60:11,”

“Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.”

“Was Jesus not a man? Peter one of his top disciples said regarding Jesus,”

“Men of Israel, listen to this, Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God…” (Acts2:22)

“According to the verses shown by being a man Jesus is clearly disqualified as a saviour let alone as the ultimate saviour for all of humanity.”

I would like to thank Mr. Anwar for the following.

-A- In denying Jesus as Savior and following the poorly written quran he simply informs we Christians that he follows the Gnostic ‘Isa’ the demonic creature that is meant to destroy Christianity and Judaism and other religions.

My proof of this accusation is from these Islamic hadiths:

“Book 37, Number 4310: “

“Narrated AbuHurayrah: “

“The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.”

-B- In attacking the Bible and attempting to disprove Christian or Jewish concepts about God he also disproves the quran as God breathed. After all there are plenty of sources the quran quotes that comes from Jews and Christians which were copied by muhammads scribes.

This of course means that muhammads visions, arguments and teaching are false and man made and not God breathed.

For those of you who are concerned about this type of propaganda. Please feel free to look up other Christians rebuttals to this poorly written attack  at:

A Trinity of abused texts by a Tawheedist, When a Muslim goes out of his league

By Nakdimon

Is this moslems Torah Scripture list correct? Lets first list the Scriptures  this sorry moslem listed. And answer his claims. For reference I have included the entire Scripture reference to show that Anwar is wrong in his conclusions.

Psalms 146:3 (Psalm 146:1-10)

Psalms 118:8 (Psalm 118:1-29)

Psalms 108:12 (Psalm 108:1-13)

Psalms 60:11 (Psalm 60:1-12)

Anwars arguments from these four Scriptures is that Jesus was solely man backfires on him because:

For Jesus to be only human means that he is not a prophet of Ilah. In fact NO human has the abilities that the Biblical Jesus poses.

Like Muhammad no human being can produce miracles or have the remarkable powers Jesus has and therefore both cannot be a prophet of Ilah.

In claiming that Jesus was only a man also means that Jesus teachings of which moslems CLAIM to follow is false because without supernatural miracles done by Jesus there is no reason to use him as reference in the quran.

Anwar and Muhammad can be ignored as teachers since both are human and according to Anwars arguments no human person can be trusted with teaching from a God.

Note: The Psalms were originally written as songs. Why anwar wants to try to argue his position with them is uncertain except to try to prove his flawed points.

His next part of his argument comes from:

John 17:3 (John 17:1-26)

Acts 2:22 (Acts 2:1-47)

To call Jesus only a man… Means that we shouldn’t trust Jesus nor Muhammad. And since Mr. Anwar is only a man why should we trust his writings, claims and propaganda.

Anwar argument fails horribly.

How can islam save anyone’s souls when its followers are required to destroy all other religions and follow in Islamic armies to kill we unbelievers?

Simply put islam and its works related salvation and salvation through jihad against Christians and Jews are not of the God of the Torah or Bible but a satanic god that anwar serves.

================  ======================  ====================

Concluding points:

Psalms 146:3 (Psalm 146:1-10) Placing ones hope not in man but in God.

Psalms 118:8 (Psalm 118:1-29) A Song of Thanksgiving to God

Psalms 108:12 (Psalm 108:1-13) A song of David

Psalms 60:11 (Psalm 60:1-12)

John 17:3 (John 17:1-26) Prayer of Jesus

Acts 2:22 (Acts 2:1-47) The Holy Spirit empowers the Disciples, Peters Sermon to Jewish people in Jerusalem.

All of these Scriptures listed when in full context are obvious evidence against this moslem  writer and proves that his logic is foolish and his claims are stupid.
