My response to a pro-gay propagandist…

Normally I don’t bother with reading what author ‘josh barro’ writes for yahoo.com / finance because of his leftist leaning and utter lack of anything meaningful to say.

This is particularly true with his multiple attacks against Phil Robertson. (Frankly I don’t care about duck dynasty or their products. Not because I’m some heartless SOB but because I live around ‘red necks’ already & I view such folks as uneducated goof balls that live under their means or education. After all this IS America where anyone can get to a upper pay grade through education and hard work. And yes I have viewed the first season of the series and while I was amused it seemed to be just a collection of skits and not something I would watch regularly.)

But I digress…

Ole joshy is particularly ‘pissed off’ because a 67 year old man has the ability to speak his mind and offer a opinion that counters the gay lifestyle that josh enjoys. And so this war of words has been particularly nasty from the stand point of josh to phil.

Now I don’t know what the point is… but frankly josh should do something else with his time because he is wasting alot of space when it comes to this ‘controversy’ about duck dynasty.

Meanwhile here is the latest ‘offering’ from the perpetually angry josh.

Segments from the article: “This Is Why Phil Robertson Is Wrong About Gays”

“1) The love sure seems to be wrapped in a lot of hate”

” Sure, I can laugh when I get these emails. I already live on an island full of gays. I have family and friends here who love me, and a successful career in a workplace where people accept me for who I am. I am winning the culture war, the readers who insult me are losing it, and these emails are a sign of their exasperation.”

“2) Gays are singled out”

“3) Religious teachings against homosexuality are incorrect.”

“All that said, there is an internally consistent story about how it could be loving to foment negative attitudes about homosexuality: God is so distressed about the idea of men having sex with other men that he will cast them eternally into hell for doing so. Therefore it is very important to discourage this behavior and promote the idea that it is shameful, even if doing so produces hate and makes gays miserable.”

“Of course, this view should also imply a much more intolerant attitude toward all sorts of sin. If we should shun and demean homosexuals and demand that they keep their deviation a secret, we should do the same to the divorced, and to women who have abortions, and those who reject Jesus Christ.”

“My argument against this position is that Christianity is simply incorrect: There is no God, and religion is made up. But many (most?) people who consider themselves Christians share my view that prohibitions against sin often should not be enforced, either by law or by social sanction against sinful behavior. They socialize with the divorced and accept their gay children. Some of them are gay themselves.”

“Just because a teaching is religious in nature does not mean it has to be accepted in polite society. In the past, people have advanced religious justifications for the burning of witches, the subjugation of women to their husbands, prohibition of interracial marriage. Today these views are considered impolite because they are widely recognized as incorrect — even though they may be sincerely held by religious people.”

—————-===================——————

Since I have time I have decided to dissect this article to make a point about the subject of the gay lifestyle.

“1) The love sure seems to be wrapped in a lot of hate”

How interesting that he calls the various ‘comments’ he has gained over the length of his articles by those who defend Phil… ‘hate mail’ and yet it is he alone that responds to anti gay comments with the same hatred as those he is willingly angering.

How hypocritical…

Gee, and I thought gay men were such grand examples of tolerance against those of us who don’t believe that propaganda shoved down our throats by the media.

After all the pro-gay movement has already disabled Christianity through liberalism and it is only a small amount of us who actually follow the Commandments of Christ not to be deceived by vain philopshy.

Moving on…

“2) Gays are singled out”

” The bible proscribes all sorts of things, from taking the Lord’s name in vain to murder, but gays are suspiciously singled out for special attention from the anti-sin brigades.”

Why is it that gays have been supposedly ‘singled out’ by anti-gay groups…

a) We get regular doses of propaganda via TV, internet, or other media resources to accept a lifestyle that can eventually kill our family members and seemingly told not to interfere with the ‘changes’ happening in our families, society, Country… Little wonder that those of us who have lost friends or families members to the idiocy of the gay lifestyle are pushing back against the elites that helped those we loved commit suicide by lust and daring to question how the gay lifestyle is nothing but a diseased waste of life.

b) groups supported by gays… attack religious or conservative groups that reject and challenge ‘gay political power’ in the USA

c) Christianity is superbly anti-gay as well as anti sin because of the moral teachings of Jesus and the Disciples. These teachings make up the New Testament and have been a guide for many Christians both in the USA & the rest of the world for 2000 years. But what of the grand moral scheme for gays in the mere 100 years? Not much…

Lastly he makes the following statements:

Today these views are considered impolite because they are widely recognized as incorrect — even though they may be sincerely held by religious people…”

Here is the crux of his argument against religion and Christianity. He rejects God and Christianity is made up. Yet these are mere generalizations like all his previous arguments. There is not fact in anything he says.

God as the Creator of this world hates all sin. All evil deeds are those things he hates. To try to pick merely gay sexual fornications as the only sin God hates is foolish ignorance by the author of this article.

More importantly… What happens when human sexuality in all its positions, fetishes and styles aren’t controlled in one form or another? It helps people catch diseases that rob them of their lives and I wonder if josh understands that?!

Do Christians ‘shun and demean’ sinners? Some might. But others embrace that people need God and that God loves them despite any wrong doings. Many Christians I know would be happy to lead a gay man to Prayer and urge him to stop those behaviors that could kill him.

Many other Christians would be ‘loving’ or caring to a woman who had a abortion and Pray with her and help her with counseling to help- her heal from within. Instead of beating her down from her sinful choice.

We in Christianity understand that sin does have a punishment and it starts with death. Somehow I don’t think josh will get that until he is already at deaths door for his lifestyle and decisions.

Since josh and others like him are basically antinomian it is only a matter of time that we shall see his immoral choices lay waste to his life. And when that happens… He has his own stupidity to blame for leaving any moral framework behind.

We in the Christian Church DONOT have to accept ‘non-religious’ teaching or propaganda by ignorant philosopher and liberal teachers who ignore medical research that the gay lifestyle and related fetishes are not healthy and as hopefully educated ‘religionists’ we have the absolute right to teach our kids, families, churches that we Must reach out to the world and remind the immoral and fool hearted that their lives are not safe that there is a source for REAL morals on this world and it is not found in liberalism, atheism or other isms. It is found in the teachings of Jesus.

To conclude this response. Jesus as a teacher has always backed marriage between one man and one woman. The subject of ‘gay rights’ and ‘gay marriage’ never existed in his culture. His teachings in addition with his Disciples easily demonstrate that gays are in the wrong and IF IT WERE POSSIBLE they should repent of their lifestyle choices before its too late.

I pity you josh… I will likely out live you and others like you. Not because I am sinless but because God is my resource. What yours josh?
