My response to rives May 2012 mass emailing “King of Kings Lord of Lords”

This following email was from May 2012 by the Theonmist and false teacher richard rives.  My response will be at the end of it.

“King of Kings Lord of Lords”

“by Richard Rives”

“The setting of the Book of Judges is at a time when there was no king in Israel. Devoid of leadership, we are told that every man did that which was right in his own eyes. The people had combined the worship of pagan gods with the worship of the Creator and because of that, things were not going well.”

“Today, once again, as if there is no leadership, many believers do what is right in their own eyes. Aspects of paganism have been combined with the worship of our Creator in Spirit and in Truth. People have been persuaded that we have no responsibility to the laws of God – that they have been nailed to the cross. – and while Christianity struggles the enemies of the gospel prosper. “

“Yes, many have failed to recognize that we are not without a King who has rules and regulations that are for our own good. Moses wrote of Him. He is the Creator we read about in the book of Genesis and He is the Elohim of Mt. Sinai who wrote His Ten Commandments in stone. He is the God of the Bible, the King of the Universe. His name is Yeshua, Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”

“In spite of what many would tell us, our King said that His commandments will never change. Will we do what is right in our own eyes or will we do what He says. Each of us has to make that decision.”

“Earnestly contending for the faith once delivered to the saints; I’m Richard Rives with Just the Facts.”

Really? My challenge to Richard rives is prove from the Bible that his Theonomy is not only Biblical but Theologically sound!

As I have shown on my blog the Law of Moses did not end with the Ten Commandments but continues on for a total of 613 Commandments! And yet rives as a Theonomist or judaizer dares to assume that he is only to keep the Ten Commandments as a form of morality.

I have also argued I think successfully that Gods law as a Theocratic system was for:

1  Israel

2  Cannot be legally binding upon non Israeli or Jewish persons since we donot run American, Canadian or other countries legal systems off of the old Law of Moses.

3  To live our lives under such a legal system that sinners would have to be killed off. This means fornicating teenagers, gay people, drug addicts, non Christian religions and many others would be killed off in a sweeping orgy of bloodshed that is Gods law as Theonomy. I perfer not to enter my rest with human blood upon my hands.

As I have previously reported rives the judaizer / Theonomist-cultist  has repeatedly said that Christians are to keep the Ten Commandments as a moral doctrine. And yet has totally ignored the rest of the New testament for guidance in the areas of morality and daily living. Which makes him a law breaker under Moses laws and a person that can be punished by God under such a series of laws.

Jesus is our Lord and it his teachings are what we should be following. This includes the teachings of the Disciples. Not the Law of Msoes as a Theocratic law. A law Jesus died to change.

Acts 15:1-31

Romans 13:8-10

Galatians 5:1-5

Ephesians 2:15-20

Hebrews 10:1-10

Rives has made his decision to follow a dead law not the living Commandments of Jesus Christ. Our future judge!
